Team Livability’s Accessible Citywide Fundraiser!
Donate and help us reach our 20k goal by the end of April 2024
All funds go directly towards propelling Livability Initiative’s Accessibility Assessments Citywide!
These funds support LI as we consult businesses, events, and private homes to bring to light the changes organizations and individuals can make to improve their space’s accessibility.
This support will take Metro Richmond leaps and bounds closer to being the most livable city for people with disabilities and the aging!
Team Livability is ready to address the public need for Metro Richmond to ensure:
-
- ADA requirements are prioritized and executed by businesses and Richmond City.
- Individuals with short- and long-term disabilities receive guidance on how to ensure their home is more accessible for them pre-discharge from a rehabilitation facility.
- Residents and visitors have clarity on the businesses and events that are accessible to them depending on their level of disability.

“As someone new to living with a disability, it’s hard to imagine music festivals or other outdoor events that I used to love being a part of my life anymore. The work LI has done to make these events in Richmond more accessible helps me realize the doors to the experiences I’ve always loved and cherished can stay open! Living with Myasthenia Gravis has led me to a lot of grief, and it’s a gift to know people are hard at work ensuring there are fewer aspects to life I need to mourn. Thank you, Team Livability!” — Indigo Ludwig
